The spirit of Rock 'n Roll is in the air, and has been given Martin Endl the strength of Little Richard, the flash of Jimi Hendrix, and the handsome looks of Keith Richards! After a sometime leave of absence due to illness, Martin has been able to participate on stage!
At first, he sang "Give Me an Answer" at the Rockover Fest in Hr

July 15th, 2007. An unfortunate announcement today. Milan Matousek, one of the two lead guitarists for The Cell will be leaving the group to form his own band. We wish Milan all the best for the future and hope that he achieves success with his new group. Lucky for us, a replacement for Milan was quickly found. One guitarist the band knew from previous concerts was Martin Endl, lead singer and lead guitar player from the Prague based group "Slow Fingers". Martin is a true bluesman and will be a great addition to The Cell's sound. Both Michal and Martin are bluesmen to the bone and compliment each others sound well. It looks like David will be the lone guitarist which is more rock / heavy rock oriented. Since he's outnumbered 2 to 1, he may be turning up his amp more for future concerts. Watch out if you are on the same side of the stage as his guitar rig!

June 23rd, 2007. On Wednesday, June 27th we will play at our favorite rock club in Prague, Kain. This club is owned by the lead guitarist of the famous Czech heavy metal group, Arakain. He's a great guy and sometimes does sound for the club. We'll see if he'll be on the mixer on Wednesday evening. Playing together with us this evening is a new, young rock group called "Mother's Angels".

June 27th, 20047. For the fourth year in a row, we played the Southern Rock Festival in Hrmenine, Czech Republic. We were the headliners this year and we had a blast! As every year, the weather was great and the southern rock fans were out in force! All of the groups playing for the festival were fantastic and we all had a great time listening to them. The groups who were there this year were: Charlie The Bomber, Valašský Vojvoda, Southern Station, Sweet Pain, Blue Rocket, Longton, Jack Daniel and the MBA Band. We always look forward to this festival each year and hope that we will be invited back in 2008.

June 16th, 2007. On Thursday, June 14th we were invited to play for the "Night of Stars" concert held by Radio Beat. This bi-annual concert is the biggest event done by Radio Beat during the year. It was held on Strelecky Island, which is smack dab in the middle of the river that runs through the middle of Prague. There was great turnout, although the weather did not cooperate too much. Also on the bill for that evening were the Czech groups "Catapult", "Michal Prokop" and "George and the Beethovens". You can see the photos from this concert here: http://www.emfoto.wz.cz/galerie/Beatovasinslavy2007/index.html http://www.boskowan.com/www/jirka/radiobeat/sin_slavy/sin_slavy1.htm

June 10th, 2007. On Friday, June 8th we played for the first time in the city of Pardubice, Czech Republic at club Hany Bany. They normally play dance and techno music at this club but for this special evening, blues and rock was on the menu. There was a good turnout, and it was a great experience, although after we finished the techno music started and we had to make a quick getaway. In case you didn't know it, techno music is damaging to the soul....

May 1st, 2007. On Saturday, April 28th we played a concert together with Tito and Tarantula (USA / Mexico)at Rock Cafe Prague. Also playing for this concert was "Benedicte Braenden" from Norway, which is playing with Tito and Tarantula for their European Tour. The club was packed and Benedicte Braenden kicked off the evening. We played right after Benedicte and then Tito took the stage. The reaction from the crowd for all three groups was fantastic. The music from Tito and Tarantula was great and everyone from the band enjoyed seeing them play live.
